Since 1956, the Moravian Music Foundation has pursued its mission and has accomplished many important tasks; including cataloging and conservation of the collections, audio recordings, microfilming and, in the near future, computerizing the catalog. These projects are made possible largely through designated gifts and grants from public agencies and private foundations.
Our daily work, however, is made possible largely by people like you! Individual contributions to our Friends Fund comprise 43% of our annual operating budget. Income from investments and endowments make up 31%, sales and royalties make up 11%, grants make up 10%, and income from Moravian churches provides 5% of our annual budget. If Moravian music holds a special place in your life, please consider adding the MMF to your annual charitable giving plan.
The MMF is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, tax-exempt educational organization as defined by the Internal Revenue Code (EIN 56-063-7463). Gifts to the MMF are tax-deductible to the extent provided by law. Please consult your accountant or financial advisor for specific information.
Many companies will match the gifts of their employees or retired employees. If you, or someone in your household, is associated with a matching gifts company, please consider multiplying your gift in this way. Please consult your company’s human resources or personnel department for details, and enclosed the matching gifts form with your gift.
If you are also interested in supporting Special Projects, Memorials and Gifts In Honor, Endowment Funds or Planned Giving, please consult our office (Winston-Salem: 336-725-0651; Bethlehem: 610-866-3340) for more information. For specialized assistance in planned giving, you may contact the Moravian Ministries Foundation for expert help. Thank you!
